He has led the Terriers to an increase in wins in the past two seasons. In 2014, he guided the Terriers to their best season in recent memory, finishing with a 5-5 record and a 4-5 mark in the NCAC. The team produced five All-NCAC honorees and recorded the most wins for the program since 1988.

Moore came to Hiram after serving as the defensive coordinator at Otterbein for seven seasons. At Otterbein, Moore was part of the staff which led the 2008 and 2009 teams to 17 victories and the institution’s first berth in the NCAA playoffs. Prior to joining the staff at Otterbein, Moore served as defensive coordinator at Hope (Mich.) College, head coach at Lake Forest (Ill.) College, defensive coordinator at Wartburg (Iowa) College, assistant coach at Michigan Technological University, and assistant coach at New Mexico State University.
