MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Senior James Workman (Garrettsville, Ohio/James A. Garfield) shot a pair of 84's to lead the Hiram College men's golf team at the Guy Kuhn Memorial Invitational hosted by Allegheny (Pa.).
The Terriers finished 18th of 18 teams with a score of 364-368-732.
Wittenberg took home the team title with a 301-293-594, Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) was second with a 36-hole team score of 304-304-608 and Ohio Wesleyan was third with a 308-301-609.
Workman's pair of 84's yielded a 36-hole total of 168, which placed him in a tie for 84th place.
Junior Michael Schustrich (Winham, Ohio/James A. Garfield) shot a 89-89-178, which tied him for 94th and junior Ryan Paterak (Garfield Heights, Ohio/Garfield Heights) finished in 100th place with a 100-93-193.
Colin Lazlo of Wittenberg took home Medalist honors with a one under par 70-73-143.
The Terriers will compete next on Monday, September 26 at the Westminster (Pa.) Fall Invitational.
