Aug. 31 – The Hiram College men's and women's soccer teams will open the 2017 season over the first weekend of September as the programs host the Hiram College Classic on Friday-Sunday, Sept. 1-3.
A total of eight games will be played throughout the weekend, with the Terriers opening the action on Friday night. The Hiram men will be first up, taking on Albion College at 4:00 p.m., before the Terrier women compete against Thiel College at 7:00.
Saturday will see a slate of non-conference action from colleges around the area. The Albion men will battle Westminster at 2:00 p.m., with the Westminster women following against Franciscan University at 4:30. In addition, the night cap will feature Mount Union, last season's Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Champions, taking on Thiel. The game is slated for 7:00.
Sunday will also see a full slate of games with the Purple Raiders competing against Franciscan at 3:00 p.m. The Terriers will then close the marathon with the Hiram women taking on Westminster at 5:30 and the men also squaring off against the Titans at 7:45. All games throughout the weekend can be seen via live broadcast.
Admission for games throughout the weekend is $5 for a single pass. However, an $8 ticket can be purchased which allows one patron into every game throughout the tournament weekend.
