April 19 – HIRAM, Ohio – The Hiram College men's volleyball team has announced its inaugural youth camp for July 26-28 on the Terriers' campus.
The youth camp will focus on players entering grades 6-12. The commuter only clinic will be a day camp from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Check-in on the 26th will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Throughout the three-day clinic, players will learn the fundamental skills and techniques needed to compete at both the high school and club levels. Skills include passing, serving, setting, hitting and blocking, as well as how to communicate with other players on the court.
Campers will receive individualized attention from former and current coaches and players who have experience at the high school and collegiate levels. Participants will exit with a firm understanding of the fundamentals and a solid platform for continuing to develop those skills in the future.
Price of the youth camp is $170 and includes lunch over all three days of the camp. Campers also have the option of purchasing a Hiram College men's volleyball long sleeve warm-up shirt for an extra $25.
