Swimming and Diving Falls Short at Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Ohio -- The Hiram College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were defeated by the Wilmington Quakers on Saturday afternoon.

Both Hiram teams are now 0-5 (0-2 NCAC) on the season.

The final score of the women's meet was 119-66, while the men's was 128-33.

Jenna Nelson continued to be the top finisher for the women. Nelson captured the top spot in both the 400-meter freestyle and 100-meter IM with 5:11.25 and 1:19.47 times.  

Reeve Bowling led the way for the men. He placed second in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 26.12.

Hiram will compete next Friday when they travel to Baldwin Wallace for a nonconference meet at 6 p.m.
