Amber Thomas enters her second year as the Assistant Director of Sports Information, Co-Advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and Program Assistant for the Diversity and Inclusion Office’s Strive for Pi Peer Mentoring Program. In the 2017-18 school year, Thomas joined the Hiram College Sports Information staff and served as the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minority and Women's Intern.
Thomas spent three years at Capital University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and worked in the sports information office and executive board member of Capital’s student-run Public Relations Firm (The Firm). Where she helped plan and execute events for clients that included local organizations.
During her time at Capital, Thomas was a member of the Track and Field team and served as the marketing and communications intern.
While at Hiram, Thomas is pursuing her master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, she is set to graduate in May 2020.
