Kendrick Bruton

Bruton enters his second season with the Hiram College football coaching staff.

Bruton joined the Terriers after spending a season as the Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach for the Lima Warriors semi-professional football team. In the one year with the Lima Warriors, Bruton helped coach the team to an 8-3 record, earning a spot in the Premier Ameauture Football League (PAFL) playoffs.

Earlier in his career, Kendrick served as an Assistant Football Coach for Miamisburg School District, where he worked with the wide receivers and tight ends.

In addition to coaching, Bruton is a Board Member for Bruton’s Books. A foundation that provides tutors and books to underfunded schools, libraries, and classrooms to help low-income children in grades K-3.

As a five-year NCAA Division I Scholarship recipient, Bruton graduated from Miami University Oxford with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2011. While at Miami, Kendrick played four seasons as a tight end for the RedHawks.
