Baseball chosen to finish 10th in NCAC Preseason poll

HIRAM, OHIO -- The Hiram College baseball team was selected to finish 10th in the North Coast Athletic Conference preseason poll.

The Terriers received 18 points in the poll.

Wooster was chosen to win the league with 94 points and seven first place votes, DePauw (Ind.) was picked second with 84 points and two first place votes and Denison was chosen third with 83 points and one first place vote.

The conference is broken down into two divisions, with Hiram playing host to Allegheny (Pa.) and Oberlin this season, while traveling to Wooster and Kenyon.

The Terriers will open the 2015 slate on March 8 at the Gene Cusic Classic in Fort Myers, Florida. Hiram will take on Rockford (Ill.) at noon and Emerson (Mass.) at 3 p.m.
