April 1 – DELAWARE, Ohio – The Hiram College lacrosse team dropped a North Coast Athletic Conference decision, 31-5, to Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon.
The Battling Bishops, who came into the game receiving votes in the latest D-III Coaches' Poll, ran out to a 23-0 advantage by the end of the first half.
The Terriers picked up five goals in the second half of play, getting scores from Jaret Walland, Evan Pinney, Tim Stucky and a pair of goals by Nick Rollason. Rollason's marked his eighth and ninth of the season, while Stucky scored his team-leading 17th. Ben Neill also earned points on the day, leading the Terriers with a pair of assists.
The Terriers will be back in action on Tuesday, April 4, as they continue NCAC play against the 10th-ranked Big Red of Denison University. The matchup is slated for a 7 p.m. start.
