Sept.29- HIRAM, Ohio- Despite a scoreless first half, the Hiram College men's soccer team was defeated by DePauw (Ind.) on Saturday afternoon by a 2-0 score.
In the second half, Justin Mitchell opened up the scoring tallying the first goal of the match in the 70th minute to put the visitors on the board.
The Tigers' Jay Klein recorded what turned out to be the last goal of the game off a penalty kick during the 83rd minute to come away with the 2-0 victory.
Although the Terriers fired three shots on goal in the match, none of them made it past Depauw's goalkeeper, securing the shutout for the Tigers.
The Terriers return to action on Wednesday, October 3 when they head to Case Western Reserve. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m
