Swimming and Diving Falls at Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio -- The Hiram College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were defeated by the Wooster Fighting Scots on Saturday afternoon.

Both of the Wooster teams improved to 3-1, while the Terriers fall to 0-4 (0-2, NCAC).

The final score of the women's meet was 177-46, while the men's fell 166-57.

Jenna Nelson and Emily Kelly were the top two finishers for the women. Nelson captured the top spot in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 1:12.18, while Kelly took first in the 50-yard butterfly (35.30).

Reeve Bowling led the way for the Terrier men. Bowling placed first in the 100-yard IM with a time of 1:02.02. He also captured the top spot in the 50-yard butterfly (25.8).

Hiram will return to the pool next Saturday (11/12) when they travel to Wilmington College for a nonconference meet. The dual-meet is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
