Jan. 10 – HIRAM, Ohio – The Hiram College softball team and Head Coach Scott Pohlman have announced the date for their 2018 Youth Skills Clinic, which will be held on Sunday, February 11th.
The clinic, which will be held in the Martin Field House on the Hiram College campus, is open to interested youth players between the grades of K-8. The day will be held from 1-5 p.m. and will be comprised of two sessions.
A clinic for pitchers and catchers will be held from 1-2 p.m. and will cost $20. Additionally, an offensive and defensive session will be held from 2:30-4:30 at a rate of $30. During the offensive/defensive session, the players will be separated into age groups.
Any player wishing to participate in both sessions can do so at a rate of $40.
It is required that all athletes bring their own equipment, including batting helmets, gloves, catcher's gear and tennis shoes, to the clinic. Check-in will open 30 minutes prior to the sessions' listed start times.
Payment can be made in the form of cash, checks or money orders, with the deadline for registration being February 10. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed to any registrations postmarked after that date.
