Women's Lacrosse picked to finish ninth in NCAC

CLEVELAND, OHIO -- The Hiram College women's lacrosse team was chosen to finish ninth in the NCAC preseason poll, as voted by the league's head coaches.

The Terriers received nine points in the poll.

Defending champion Denison was tabbed as the preseason favorite with 76 points and five first place votes, Allegheny (Pa.) was picked second with 72 points and the remaining four first place votes. Wittenberg rounded out the top-three with 65 points.

Hiram returns 12 players from last seasons squad that posted a 3-13 record.

Under head coach Erika Blozie, the Terriers will open the 2015 campaign on Saturday with a 2 p.m. home contest against Houghton (N.Y.).
