Women's Lacrosse tabbed to finish ninth in NCAC

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Hiram College women's lacrosse team was picked to finish ninth of nine teams in the NCAC Preseason poll, based on balloting from the league coaches.

The Terriers received nine points in the poll.

Defending champion Denison was picked to repeat with 76 points and six first place votes. Wooster was chosen second with 64 points and one first place vote and Oberlin was tabbed third with 58 points and one first place vote. Wittenberg also received a first place vote in the poll.

Hiram posted a program record five victories last season.

The Terriers will open up the 2016 season, under first year head coach Brianne Dishong, on March 2 at home against Muskingum at 7 p.m.
