HIRAM, Ohio -- The Hiram College women's lacrosse team dropped a 20-2 home decision to NCAC leader Denison on Saturday.

The Terriers are now 3-8 on the season and 0-3 in conference play, while the Big Red improve to 7-5 and remain perfect in NCAC play at 4-0.

Junior Autumn Osgood (Hyde Park, Vt./Lamoille Union) accounted for both of Hiram's goals. She now has a team leading 29 on the season.

The Big Red scored the first four goals of the contest, before Osgood got the Terriers on the board at the 25:54 mark of the first half.

Denison held a 13-1 lead at the break.

Osgood also made good on a free position shot with 24:57 left in the game.

Sophomore Rachel Metcalf (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls) made nine saves in goal.

Hiram will return to action on Sunday, April 17 with a 4 p.m. non-conference clash with Hilbert (N.Y.). The Terriers will also be holding the "Battle for Britt", where Britt Host, a Terrier supporter battling Ewing's Sarcoma will lead the team out onto the field before the contest.
