HIRAM, OHIO -- The Hiram College women's soccer team tied Heidelberg University, 0-0, in double overtime in a non-conference game at the Hiram Soccer Complex.
With the tie, the Terriers are now 3-5-2 overall and the Student Princes are 1-6-1 overall for the season.
The shot totals for both teams were pretty even in the first half with a slight edge going in favor of Hiram, 4-3, but neither team could find the back of the net, keeping the game tied at 0-0 at the intermission.
The second half was much of the same as the game remained deadlocked despite the Terriers having a 5-2 shot advantage, sending the game into overtime.
After two overtime periods, the game ended in a scoreless tie. Hiram recorded the only shots of the overtime periods, but could not net the game-winner.
