Dana Yeater leads Women's Cross Country at All-Ohio Championships

CEDARVILLE, OHIO -- The Hiram women's cross country team competed at the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Cedarville on a rainy Friday afternoon.

The Terriers scored 642 points as a team, which put them in 20th place.

No. 17 Mount Union won the team title with 63 points, No. 5 Oberlin was second with 70 points and Ohio Wesleyan finished third with 105 points.

Freshman Dana Yeater (Kinsman/Badger) led Hiram across the finish line in 421st place out of 477 total runners in 28:20.97.

Junior Ashley Dillon (Orwell/Grand Valley) came in 430th in 28:40.63 and senior Patricia Bohls (Macedonia) finished 442nd in 29:10.40.

Hiram will return to competiton on October 18, when it takes part in the Oberlin Invitational at 10 a.m.
